No One has a Crystal Ball but the best I can tell you is that I have been in this business for over a decade and have seen alot. It is just my opinion but I believe, only because I follow the markets daily, that the rates will be closer to the 7% on 30 yr fixed by the end of the year and from here they will stabilize for a while. After this point I just do not know. I have been saying that I expect a market crash in <5 years too and I have said this for 2 years just based on the economy. Again just my opinion as a Mortgage Advisor and an Investor. Rates are still good though if you are looking to buy a home so buy NOW and dont delay if that why you ask on rates. Go for a FIXED rate and NEVER an ARM right now. Give the markets 8 yrs roughly and the rates will possibly DROP again!
